On May 3rd I had the honor to be a Keynote Speaker at the fNIRS Workshop in Heidelberg, Germany.

My talk titled “Functional near-infrared spectroscopy for emotional decoding and affective neurofeedback studies” covered our efforts to decode emotional states using fNIRS and to develop an fNIRS-based neurofeedback protocol targeting emotion processing networks.
